Angelfish are an extremely popular freshwater fish that surprisingly belongs to the cichlid family. Despite belonging to this family, angelfish are not as aggressive as their fellow cichlids. Angelfish can be territorial but will do just fine in a community aquarium when kept in proper conditions. These beautiful fish can reach almost 7″ and require at least 30 gallons, but the larger the aquarium, the better. All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only.
