Veggie food consisting of flakes with ingredients rich in ballast substances and carotenoids
sera Flora Nature is the veggie food for all herbivorous ornamental fish eating at the water surface that does not require dyes and preservatives.
Due to the natural ingredients rich in ballast substances such as Spirulina with its high carotenoid percentage, the food ensures healthy digestion and enhances liveliness.
The easily digestible composition with its high percentage of herbal protein is also ideal for weakened fish that are, for instance, recovering from an intestinal disease.
The flakes keep their shape for a long time and do not cloud the water.
Natural ornamental fish diet
This product belongs to the “sera Nature” product range, which does not require any dyes nor preservatives.
A varied diet with ingredients close to nature is the best protection against deficiencies, and supports the health and liveliness of the fish.
The Nature food types therefore contain natural ingredients such as Spirulina, Krill or sustainable insect meal from soldier fly larvae (Hermetia).
The signets on the front side of the package highlight these ingredients and their amounts in the food.
What we think of Flora at The Tech Den is Flora rates as on of the top choices for a Flake food with high quality ingredients balanced with vitamins and minerals. It is very unusual for fish not to take to it immediately and one of our “go to” foods that ticks all the boxes. After time you should be seeing the results of a good food including vigor and health as well as the overall appearance. One of the major benefits less talked of is the fishes resistance to problems – a healthy well fed fish is less likely to become susceptible.
Staple food for mainly herbivorous fish, such as livebearing toothcarps and cichlids from lakes Malawi and Tanganyika. Ballast substances support healthy digestion, the basis for successful keeping and breeding. The particularly high Spirulina amount ensures splendid natural colouration.
Flora is also a very good food for algae eating fish including catfish and tropical fish.
