Dr. Tank CO2 Fertilizer Tabs deliver an easy-to-use, effervescent carbon source to boost plant growth through enhanced photosynthesis. These tabs provide a steady supply of carbon in your aquarium, supporting vibrant, healthy plant development. In addition to CO2, they contain an inorganic carbon source that sustains photosynthesis even after the effervescent effect wears off.

These tablets can be used on their own or as a supplement alongside a CO2 cylinder for more intensive plant care.

Key Features and Important Notes

• Each bottle treats roughly up to 2500L / 650 gallons.
• Dosing:
  • <14 gal: 1 tab once a week
  • 15 – 25 gal: 1 tab twice a week
  • >25 gal: 2 tabs twice a week
  • Note: Once added to the tank, CO2 bubbles will release for 20 minutes.
