API Aquarium Stress Coat, an effective stress reducing water treatment.

The API Stress Coat is a dual action aquarium treatment. The liquid makes tap water safe by removing the chlorine, chloramine and ammonia that is present and can be harmful to fish.

Stress Coat also aids healing of fish and reduces stress. Containing a healing power of Aloe Vera, the treatment forms a synthetic slime coating on the fish and replaces the natural slime that is disrupted by handling, shipping and other forms of stress. Not only does it help to reduce susceptibility to disease and infection, but it also helps to heal torn fins and skin wounds while reducing electrolyte loss.

Can be used when performing a partial water change, starting a new aquarium and adding new fish.
