Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt is a blend of natural salts that would usually be found in the Rift Lakes of East Africa – the true home of Cichlids. The blend of magnesium, potassium and other trace elements such as iron, aluminium and iodide. Some other types of Cichlids hail from the lakes of Victoria and Tanganyika, which have a very slight different water chemistry. However this blend of salts is suitable for both types and will provide the fish with the very best blend. All you need to do is alter the dosage accordingly.
